The performance took place as part of an art plein-air Simbioze 2.0 under the guidance of Dutch performance artist Lisette Ros. Suspended approximately four meters above the ground between two concrete pillars, I positioned myself in a state of physical and conceptual tension — held by two ropes, one on each side.
Throughout the performance, I read statements addressing ethically and emotionally charged topics — from animal welfare and gender identity to language, ecology, and technology. The audience was invited to respond to each statement by choosing a side: yes or no. Their collective decision was translated into physical movement — they were invited to pull the ropes, shifting my suspended body toward the side they agreed with.
The work explored how moral and emotional weight is distributed between opposing viewpoints and how collective action can literally move a body. Some discussions became heated, transforming the act of “agreement” into a shared, bodily negotiation of values.
